Description of ๐Ÿฉน Curad Non-Stick Sterile Pads (100-Pack) for Gentle Wound Dressing and Absorption - No Adherence

This sterile, absorbent rayon/polyester pad will not interfere with granulating tissue by sticking to the wound. The soft perforated film allows air to circulate and the absorbent pad allows the fluid to collect. It can easily be cut to fit any shape without separating.

Excellent product, suitable for bandages and dressings

This bandage comes in a range of different sizes. Everything I've used is great. They are individually sterile packed. They are easy to open when applying a bandage. They come off without sticking to the wound they cover. They are a great blessing in wound care.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Very thin Suitable for gauze and pads

Does not stick to wounds. However, these bandages are very fragile. Layering often means that when the tape is removed, the top layer of the bandage separates while the rest of the bandage is still attached to the body. Unless all four sides are covered with tape, the pad has a nasty habit of rolling and rubbing the wound. Not healthy! The CVS trademark is much better - a one-piece construction that won't fall apart and it's a stronger bandage.

Pros
  • Excellent general performance
Cons
  • Interval

**DO NOT BUY** Not sure why CURAD has such good reviews?

Two brands compared side by side. On the left is a plaster and on the right is a CURAD. As you can see from the photos, the CURD pad is very thin and transparent. I had to listen to all the negative comments about CURAD. CURAD seals fall apart. And how little he stuck to the wound. These pads stick to wounds. And trust me when I say "ERASE THE PAIN!" NEVER AGAIN. Back to BAND-AID brand purchase.

Pros
  • It's amazing

  • New competitors have emerged

Great product! Highly recommended!

I love these! They are also large enough to be cut in two for minor injuries. I bought some of these widow spider bite pads from another brand at CVS but they caused an allergic reaction so I went to Revain to get another brand and I got this one! I love her! I'm not allergic to them so love the quality and price! My roommate recently had back surgery and I gave them to her and she loves them too! They provide pain relief for several hours if you add medication to them and tape them withโ€ฆ

Poor quality, good for first aid

The non-stick pad has a very plastic outer layer, similar to cheap plastic wrap, and a thin, speckled inner layer, essentially a flattened cotton swab. The product is very thin and thin. It doesn't absorb as well as it's very thin. It moves and rolls up easily when worn under clothing, exposing the wound unless the pad is securely taped shut. When it is firmly glued, just tear it off with a small movement. I will not buy again. Not breathable. Compared to other brands, Band-Aid No Hurt nonstick

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some minor issues

I notice desquamation of the epidermis. Various gauze pads tend to stick to the edges of the wound after a few hours, making removal painful and aggravating the wound, prolonging healing time. Using these non-stick pads with antibiotic ointment, cream or liquid spray has greatly improved the process of removing gauze pads for wound cleansing and gauze replacement. Consult your doctor and do your own research, but I found that by thoroughly cleaning the wound, applying petroleum jelly to one ofโ€ฆ

Quality Matters - Healthcare

One would think that cheap, ordinary haberdashery should be about the same for simple clothing. You are not. When my child recently had a non-trivial injury, we still had bandages and bandages from the hospital. And I had a few things in my own first aid kit. Also, of course, my volunteer rescue team that I work in has bandages. Thing is, my kit, like others, had typical 4x4s etc but not a custom variant. So I went to a well-known retail pharmacy and bought two different types of non-stick andโ€ฆ

LATEX FREE - I AM SO HAPPY

I needed non-stick pads and read reviews of the Kendall Telfa Pads I use. I read a 1 star review and a review by William R. Herrmann that drew my attention to latex. By removing the pads from my wounds daily, my skin around the wounds was snow white and healed very slowly; even after removing the veins in November. It reminded me that I was diagnosed with an allergy to LATEX gloves many years ago. I have a small supply of another brand latex free and have only been using them for a day, theโ€ฆ
