Review on ๐Ÿฉน Curad Non-Stick Sterile Pads (100-Pack) for Gentle Wound Dressing and Absorption - No Adherence by Will Lockhart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Truly non-stick; sterile; Extremely effective with petroleum jelly, ointment or cream

I notice desquamation of the epidermis. Various gauze pads tend to stick to the edges of the wound after a few hours, making removal painful and aggravating the wound, prolonging healing time. Using these non-stick pads with antibiotic ointment, cream or liquid spray has greatly improved the process of removing gauze pads for wound cleansing and gauze replacement. Consult your doctor and do your own research, but I found that by thoroughly cleaning the wound, applying petroleum jelly to one of these pads before applying to the wound puts an end to the sticking and almost eliminates the pain of removing the pad. (Proper cleaning is paramount to reducing infection (and the pain that comes with it). Depending on your personal circumstances, antibiotics may be indicated - they certainly worked for me during my current condition. Recent research also seems to show that keeping the wound moist actually speeds up wound healing overall healing process Again, be sure to discuss wound care with your doctor.) Bottom line, other things being equal, for me replacing other gauze pads with these makes a huge difference. I will continue to use them and recommend them unreservedly.
