Exquisite 925 Sterling Silver Fire Opal Wedding Engagement Solitaire Ring Review

Very beautiful laconic ring Looks like in the picture. I'm allergic to nickel and this is the first piece of jewelry I've had and I have to say it's nickel free and I have to say so far so good.

Although the band on this ring was strong and thick, the stone looked cheap. Unfortunately, the group size was too big for me, so I ended up going back. If the stone looked nicer I would have exchanged it for a smaller size, but that wasn't a win for me.

This is not a bright silver like the standard photo. It is a dark silver/dark gray color and the stone is green. Nice, but I wasn't expecting green. Size 6.5 is too big and I always wear size 6.5. It looks very thin in the photo, but in reality it's thicker and less thin, which means it looks more uncomfortable and not very comfortable. I'll leave it on though, hopefully just wearing it will make it more comfortable.

My birthstone is opal. I have many gold set real opals that have been gifted to me over the years. I've never owned a lot of sterling silver. I recently received gifts in sterling with opals. Although I'm retired and in my 80's, I still enjoy wearing my jewelry every day. I chose this ring to wear with opal studs and a beautiful sterling silver/opal bracelet given to me by my granddaughter. That's very pleasant.

I gave this ring to my petite 20 year old daughter for Christmas. The ring looks great on her! Opals are so useful - sometimes my daughter dresses up a bit with a "cool but unexpected accent of some black zippers" or black leather boots with jeans and a top that looks like she's been at the city museum all day. The thing is, no matter what the mood of her outfit, this opal ring will match that outfit. The ring is well made and the opal shimmers in color when the light hits it.

The ring doesn't seem silver to me. There is no 925 silver hallmark on the inside as described in the description. Looks more like stainless steel to me. In addition, "opal” seems to me to be an ingenious composite material. It looks very cheap. The ring size was about 1.5 sizes too big, so if you decide to order, choose a size at least smaller than you think you need.
