I expected them to be heavier and bigger so I can trim the long beads. But it is too small and only suitable for very small diameter beads (e.g. rice type or 3mm or 3mm beads). Doesn't suit my needs. Saved it as the return postage isn't worth it.

I bought 2 of these clasps - one for me, one for my daughter - and we love them both. I have a lot of 36 inch gemstone chain strands and I use a clasp to shorten and double the strand. They are durable and the eight closure is securely tightened. The ring also looks decorative.

Item exactly as listed for cutting endless strands of beads. That works great. I chose this one because I used to have one that didn't have a clasp and kept opening. This is no longer a problem with this secure closure. Thanks for a great product at a great price!
