🧥 Stylish and Warm: Steve Madden Women's Plus-Size Single Breasted Wool Coat Review

I've only had a jacket for a few months and it's already frayed and I've lost more than four different buttons. I am so disappointed especially for the price I paid for the jacket.

I already have this coat in a different color. It tends to pill as others have mentioned, but I'm flattered by that. Thought I would buy a different color to wear with sweaters. My arms are so tight on the oversized coat that I can't even wear the coat with a sleeveless shirt. What the hell!

I like this coat very much. I bought it plus size. The fabric has a great texture but not as warm as I was hoping. But the winter was severe, up to 19 degrees. Lined with a thin polyester fabric that looks like a scarf. The landing is generous. Might be too generous for me from the waist to the sides and back. I will make it fit as there is too much fabric on the back of the thighs and buttocks. Bought white in winter.

I liked the coat. It fits very well and is quite heavy. I wore this coat for the first time in Manhattan in 20 degree weather and I was very warm. It's well made and I have loads of extras. The buttons dangle, but after I sewed them tighter there were no problems. The only thing I didn't notice when ordering was that the back is longer than the front. When I tried it on it looked great. As other reviewers said. Everything has been tightened for a week and looks shabby. I was able to keep all the buttons turned on by being very careful. Holes in the pockets after 2 weeks. Not the warmest - layering is required in colder weather. But very difficult. Despite the flaws, it's still a great design and I get compliments every time I wear it. The hood is amazing. When I received this coat I was pleased it was very attractive and true to size (ordered a few sizes up so I can wear clothes underneath and I like loose coats and comfortable). I bought this specifically to wear on a trip to DC the day after Christmas. After only two days of wearing, the seams on both sides of the back came undone, the button fell off, everything "crumbled", threads are hanging all over the coat.
