The decor looks great, the base is made of wood, the gauge of the wire is metal, durable and high quality, two pieces are in the package. One large and one smaller, I bought two packs so you see 4 in total, no candles included.

I was really excited about this item but when I opened the box both wooden bases were broken into pieces. The tops were fine and I was almost tempted to keep them but I will be returning them. I do not recommend buying this product because wooden floors are very cheap.

I received them and when I opened them I noticed that there was a piece of wood broken in one of the lower parts that I had to glue back on, but even then it wasn't long enough to fit between the missing spaces...these briefs feel cheap and very light. Also, the top rings don't stick if you want them to be like that for decoration. I'm keeping them because they're on a ledge in my kitchen where you can't see the broken floor.

Rustic wooden bases have a nice feel and wire cages are built to last. They are sitting outside on my patio table with a solar candle and artificial succulents. A few days after arrival, the large wooden base splintered. I expect this to happen with items crafted and transported from the humid climate to the arid desert where I live, so I just leave the crack facing inwards. Overall they look good and perform well outdoors.

These are adorable rustic lanterns and look great with LED candles and faux ivy or faux lavender. They look great on my patio. Note, however, that they are intended to be used solely as table or floor decorations. The upper metal cage is not connected to the wooden floor in any way. So if you try to hang it on the hook, the bottom will fall out. I tried to do it the MacGyver way by squeezing artificial lavender between the wire and the wooden base, but alas.
