As a result of using this product, I found that it was very difficult to assemble and disassemble, and the collapsible feature was virtually useless. The padding was thin and uncomfortable for my dog, and the carrier itself felt flimsy and unsafe. The only positive was the lightweight feature, but it didn't make up for the overall poor quality. Save your money and invest in a better carrier.

I have two of these, one for each of my 12 lb cats and have been using them for three years now. They are the perfect balance between design/safety and lightness and comfort. You can detach the stretcher, fold up the center panel and close the outer shell again for very compact storage.
