Heats up well but doesn't grip hair well. When you have very short hair like mine, it's difficult to curl it. Not bad for the price and small enough for easy travel.

Very popular mini hair straightener. My granddaughter is a hairdresser and does my hair. When I went to my appointment I took my mini hair straightener to show her and she loved it and said it was much better than the one she had at the salon. I like that it heats up very quickly! I'm used to using a curling iron so I had to practice with it a bit. Can be curled or straightened quickly. However, the cord is short so I had to bend over the counter to do my hair from the back. It should be about 1 foot longer for comfortable use.

Although the curlers work, I was disappointed that I couldn't use them with one hand. It doesn't grip the hair tightly enough to curl it unless you're holding it with both hands. This makes it very difficult to use on the face or areas with short hair.
