Swatch Plastic Silicone Strap Replacement Review

Not the fault of this product which is excellent but these new watch buckles are tricky to put on - I needed both reading glasses and a magnifying glass to see what I was doing. However, it's relatively easy once you get the hang of it. Make sure the tab is on top of the buckle and not under it or you will have to do it again. My only concern is that my original Swatch had a metal bar through the buckle that didn't have a spring for easy removal. I couldn't reuse it - too difficult to install…

It is important that you measure correctly to get the exact width you need for your watch. I must have measured correctly because the plastic buckle and silicone loop fit really well. I have a gray buckle for my black watch strap. This makes the watch more modern. I didn't use the tool that came with it to remove the old buckle - it didn't work for me. I bought this replacement buckle to fit my daughter's Gizmo Pal 2 watch. The pin that holds the buckle in place kept falling out when the buckle or watch strap was stressed. I like this quality but I accidentally ordered a little more. I originally measured to get a new band and measured 20mm. Only the clasp is a little smaller. The description tells you where to measure and even says that part of the strap is likely smaller than where the watch attaches to the strap.
