The surface is too rough for stamps, so you can use a pen and wash it at Christmas. Despite being a 140 weight, it doesn't seem to absorb as much water as regular 140 weight paper - it tends to warp a bit with a little washing.

I make a lot of cards by hand - they are high quality and impressive. Everyone admires and moans when they receive one of my drawn cards. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good thick paper with a matching cover colour, slightly yellowish. Supplied flat packed for easy handling. I bought these cards based on the description that they were for use with watercolors. The paper does not hold up well in wet watercolor conditions. The surface will start to curl like an eraser, causing some areas to appear torn. The paper also warps with moisture, which does not improve after drying, even after lying under a heavy book for several days. This paper is not pure white but a warmer white. It may work well with other artistic mediums such as pencil, ink, or pastel.
