The paper is perfect for me, the paper is slightly creamy with just enough teeth but not so thick that I have to worry about wasting paper and can focus on painting. The hardcover on the spiral is great.

I love this sketchbook! However, when I use ink, the paper creases a bit, which is understandable since it's only sketching/drawing paper. This paper is suitable for graphite, charcoal, oil/chalk and colored pencils. I still use markers (mostly Copic markers) and they will show through the paper. If you have a leaf behind the page you're using, you should be fine. Otherwise I would definitely buy it again. I love Strathmore products.

I've had one for 5 years since high school and it was my very first GOOD sketch ever and I just love it! That's why I was so glad to find another place to find it, because for about a year I was looking for it in another place where it would be easier for me to get it, my search led me here. 💖 The hard cover is great to take with you and draw when traveling, or just sit in a coffee shop with music and just travel with a pencil thanks to the REALLY GOOD PAPER QUALITY (I'm very picky about paper
