I have a few step rituals for my son (a size 5 toddler) that are PERFECT! I love their shoes so I ordered them a size 5/5.5 thinking we'd use them as we grow. They are huge! I put them next to others and they run at least 1-2 sizes bigger. It's okay for him to grow in it, but it's frustrating when I've specifically ordered a size that I know will fit him. Second pair for grandchildren. Soft and durable. Appears to be waterproof. Easy to turn on and off. The sole has very small steps and is a bit difficult to clean, but a toothbrush or nail brush works well.

My son literally only had them for a month and the material started to fade and crack. After a month of use, HOLES appeared in the boots (see photo). One would think that this brand's shoes, designed for toddlers, would stand up to wear and tear. I love Stride-Rite and have had no complaints about their shoes prior to this pair. Extremely disappointing - maybe these are fake step rituals?

My son has wide feet which is great. you look cute The only complaint is that the language should be a bit broader. Seems like it would be uncomfortable if it was under velcro straps. But my son says they are comfortable. Gave 4 stars only because they are only a month old and looks like the right ones, might be talking soon. Not yet, but it looks like it. Otherwise good shoes.

My son and I love these! He is 2 years old and the first shoe he can put on and take off by himself. Our pediatrician recommended this brand because he has bent knees and flat feet. They are also very stylish. I recommended these to my friend for her son, also because of the built in roomy fit option - hard to find!

Initially I was very happy with these boots. Cute and seems well made. I took my toddler to the park one day and the plastic on the toe is already coming off. Very sad about that, will probably come back.

After reading the reviews we didn't expect them to last long but we've had them for a few months now and they seem to handle a lot of intense toddler play on the floor well. But we will see!

Bought these for my 2 year old grandson. I think I wore Stride Rite shoes myself as a kid. Very well made, size 6 fits perfectly. Easy on and off for chubby little feet. They keep his feet warm and dry in our northwestern winter. I will keep buying them when he grows up.

Should have read the other reviews first, shoes only lasted 4-5 socks and had holes in the toes, had to be thrown away. It must be fake as our other Stride Rites lasted two kids!

Literally after a pair of socks, the color on the toes of the shoes started to fade. Not a good shoe for little boys who like to play.

Love it! Obviously they look very cool and have lasted a long time too. My boy wears them almost every day and they last well for months! you still look great

My son is now a size 7 but I ordered an 8. They are not too big, so I think the shoes run a bit small? They are adorable and suit him perfectly!

Within a day of my 4 year old wearing them the fabric is already wearing off. He says they're comfortable and probably easy for him to put on himself.

They looked just like the picture but I was disappointed. They're pretty heavy. They fit well but I don't think they will be comfortable.

Please note that these shoes are oversized. I ordered a size 11 but looks more like a 12-1/2. The shoes are generally well made and sturdy. I will keep the shoes and he can wear them next year.

I got this for my 3 year old. These sneakers are really cute and my son says they are comfortable but they frayed after only using them twice to go to kindergarten.

My child is very picky about shoes but I know they will last until they grow up. They are usually larger than department slippers. But I ordered accordingly.

Be careful with the size. My son outgrew toddler/toddler size 11, Nike 12 is fine now. So I bought a size 12 for little kids but size 12 was too big and when I reordered it turned out that size 11 was too small. The shoes looked good, can't confirm the quality when we returned.

Both shoes shown are a size 10. They are clearly the wrong size and will not fit for a while. The quality seems to be mediocre. Not what I expect from Stride Rite.

They looked great and fit great. I just didn't like the material (don't know what it was but it doesn't look like leather) that has peeled off in such a short time. They looked cheap very quickly. Not what I expected from the SR brand.
