Poor quality in my rating.

After a wash all seams look worn and loose with dangling drawstrings. Not what I expected from this brand. My son's Target brand shoes lasted much better and were $12. You should be able to toss them in the washing machine from time to time to keep them from going bad.

Pros
  • My 7 year old grandson loves them. They have reflective bands and are very durable. And can I say sharp looks.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children with special needs.

Not as durable as I expected.

I am very disappointed in the durability of these tennis shoes. I bought these on the 21st October for my then 5 year old son and almost immediately they were rubbing hard on his toes and now 8 months later there are a few holes in the toe box and the material is peeling off the sides. This is the first pair of Stride-Rite shoes that my boy has failed.

Pros
  • Available in various size options
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with sensitive skin.

Great fit for my 6 year old although the velcro is a bit frayed

The shoes are great and the kid loves them at school this year. Well done. The only criticism of the velcro is that the threads stick out at the edges, but that doesn't bother much. They are worth it for foot support and longevity with all its energy!

Pros
  • Great price for a great product.
Cons
  • It may not be easy to clean

I had to leave it at my rating.

It was great...until they were. I don't know why but after a few months my son's feet stank TERRIBLE. He is 6 and has NEVER had this problem. The shoes smelled awful, so I put them outside to air, dried his feet, and turned back to his sneakers. Since then he has had no more problems. I will no longer buy Stride rights.

Pros
  • Like a brand
Cons
  • Shoes can be too heavy

Good shoes - my new review

They fit and seem to last longer than it takes them to grow. This is my fifth pair of Stride Rites and I will continue to buy them.

Pros
  • They had a few rips after my kid wore them a few times but they are beautiful sneakers and went well with a variety of outfits.
Cons
  • Item arrived in poor condition and appears to be used.

Doesn't last more than a month for a 2 year old

I bought these shoes for my 2 year old a month ago and they already have a hole in the top of the shoe. He is 2 years old, he runs and crawls outside in kindergarten. These shoes have to withstand it, but they don't.

Pros
  • Excelente calidad, los compré para mi hijo y los ama, fue una gran compra
Cons
  • Cannot be waterproof

Good quality in my rating

The size is correct, the quality is excellent. The Velcro runs the full length of the strap which is great for my son's wide foot. The previous pair of Stride Rites only had a small velcro strap and his little fat foot could tear out of it!

Pros
  • My 3 year old fell in love the moment he saw it.
Cons
  • The shoes were comfortable too, but the front broke in just a few weeks! I will not recommend them.

Broke in less than a month

Not durable at all. The faux leather material on the toe of the shoe wore out in less than a month. The shoes are wearable but look terrible.

Pros
  • good shoe Not too hard. The only problem I see is that it doesn't come in 1/2 size. It would be nice.
Cons
  • maybe not stylish

Not worth the price

I received these shoes exactly 13 days ago for my toddler who has worn them about 5 times. They are already torn and the thread breaks. For $45 I expect them to last longer and I'm disappointed as there was a Rite of Steps we bought from Nordstrom before and they lasted a long time.

Pros
  • Non-slip sole for safety
Cons
  • It may not take long enough to justify the cost

Finger falls apart best in my rating

Like many other reviews, my 3 year old had a toe that fell apart within 2 weeks. It looks like it's reinforced with some kind of rubber or leather, but it's actually something like cardboard starch, and the kid, who's a toddler, breaks through it.

Pros
  • The Love Stride Rite is the best shoe for kids at a great price.
Cons
  • It can cause leg pain

Day care approved in my opinion

These shoes are perfect for my son's everyday play. They protect and cushion his little foot and he can move around in it easily. They are lightweight and durable. quality shoes.

Pros
  • Very durable and well made for an active 5 year old. It's easy for him to put them on. Good traction.
Cons
  • Limited availability in stores

The finish is better than other shoes in the same price range

They are much more durable than the shoes I found for my son before. From day one he seemed very comfortable in it and had no walking/tangling issues. They have a wide foot option by simply taking out the insert, which is great if you find them too narrow. My son has wider feet I would say but we didn't have to remove the insoles. They held up much better than the sneakers I had for him before and they were comparable in price.

Pros
  • Athletic
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Terrible quality!

I heard the Stride Rite kids shoes are good quality and look cute so I bought them for my 4 year old. What mistake! This is by far the worst purchase I have ever made from Revain. My son only uses them a few times a week when he goes to school and the occasional walk and he does NOT wear heavy shoes. The front only started to wear out after 2 weeks but I kept them because they are wide and comfortable. The front openings are getting bigger and today it's just the side hinge that broke. That's…

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Very expensive

Couldn't go the distance.

My son and I loved them when we first got them. However, they only lasted ONE month! He wore them almost every day, but he hasn't started school or kindergarten yet, so he doesn't wear shoes all day - every day. Therefore, they should NOT wear out in such a short time. When I noticed the hole in the sole of the right boot (which is almost flush with the inner lining - if you press the hole with the boot on, you can clearly feel the ball of your foot) we were already two days later the return…

Pros
  • Running
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
