As others have said there is no way to set the light mode. It reverts to obnoxious blinking lights every day unless you manually exit to select a different mode. I plan to return these. One of the positives is that they're decently bright for so little money.

Just wish that when you turn them on the next night they turn on in the same mode they were turned off. I have to adjust them to the desired setting every night. They light up at dusk and go out at dawn, but don't stay in the same mode as when they were turned off.

It's just ok, unlike the ones I bought last year they don't seem to last long on a solar charge. Despite an absolutely sunny day with the solar panel open, the light does not stay on for more than 2-3 hours. One of them performs worse than the other and shuts off after 2 hours leaving the lights out at 6:30pm mostly on the east coast.

I want them to stay on all the time, no blinking, racing etc. I can set the mode to be always on, but for an hour or so it will come back to blink and run. Both sets in the box do the same thing. I didn't realize it until I hung them all on a tree. It hurts to remove them. Pooh. Check them before you hang them anywhere.

I have these lamps outside in 2 separate wreaths. I set them to "always on" and each night they automatically toggle to blink, chase or disappear. I do NOT want them to blink at all. I just need the always-on feature to work properly. That's exactly what the two lights included in this set of two do. I'll have to replace it soon as I don't want my wreaths with flashing lights.

They are beautiful and very bright. But what annoys me is you have to change mode every time they turn on or they repeat each mode run through. You have to change it to stay in the mode and where I have solar bases I have to crawl through the flower beds to get to them. Other reviews talked about this mode issue and I checked it out thinking it was coincidence but no you have to set the mode every time they turn on.

Our entire neighborhood has these very inexpensive, easy to use lights to illuminate the trees along our street this dark year. Don't worry about cables and plugs. Simply stick a solar panel into the ground for each string and wrap the light around anything nearby. My only complaint is that the light doesn't stay on as long as I'd like. Mine last when it's dark but not all night. They usually leave before midnight. Maybe mine just don't get enough sun.
