Strong And Stylish: Miscly Flat Waxed Cotton Boot Laces - 1/4" Wide [1 Pair] Review

It’s a good shoelace and seems like it has some good quality to it. I would buy it again. They’re a little stiff upon initial use and the actual tie seems a little loose because it doesn’t grip well yet, but I haven’t had them untie themselves yet. The stiffness does wear off with use.

These are replacement laces for a pair of sneakers I wanted to keep. They don't come untied like the small round ones. I like that.

I replaced the laces in my Clarks desert boots and the size was exactly what I needed. The color was not a perfect match and the wax finish was a little firm but that was to be expected (waxed laces). They have held up pretty well so far but due to their slick nature I now need to tie my laces in double knots so they don't come undone. At the end of the day, they are shoe laces and they do the job.

These are really nice and they do feel premium! They make may Palladium boots looks dressier as well. For the knot issue I ca see why some are saying they come off, but it can be easilt fixed by doing a double knot or a tight deadstock knot. Highly recommended!

The laces that came with my AE Pattons were way, way too long (46"). These were perfect in terms of length. I'd like the finish to be more waxy, however. Still, I'd buy them again.

I ordered these women’s boots and they arrived with ugly white laces which were inappropriate for a pair of black boots. So I ordered these 63 inch black laces from revain and they worked out well! I could lace them all the way up to the top of the boot and I’d still be able to tie them. These laces also seem very durable and of good quality!

Good quality, shipped promptly. Works great. Replaced some round laces in some Dunham shoes that always untied themselves unless double knotted. These flat laces stay tied!

These were advertised as waxed laces. They are waxed, but the wax wears off quickly on any part that is handled. The upper area for tying the knot and cinching down the boot no longer had wax within two weeks. The lower part still show some wax. The laces are good flat cotton laces though and hold a knot well.

My husband ordered shoes last spring on line and the laces just recently broke. I was so happy to find these laces! They are an odd color of brown and were hard to find. These laces were a perfect match! I hope you keep them in stock so I’ll know where to go if they break again!

Great boot laces for me. I got them for my red wing iron rangers. They’re more of a casual boot than work and I prefer these laces over the ones from the factory. They’re serving they’re purpose just fine

I put them on regular leather shoes and they’re a good fit. Product was not the same size to it''s mate! Maybe a tad long. But durable and the color is as advertised.

Wanted some normal laces for my shoes. you all know what that means. Soft, flexible, cotton guys. These looked the part so I bought them. No. They're super stiff and crunchy, like they belong in a dress shoe, but vaguely have the look of a casual lace. The color, which was supposed to be brown, was more a dark grey.

Replaced the laces on my Red Wind Beckmans. I got laces slightly larger than what came with the boots. Been going strong for a couple months now. No complaints--work the same/same quality as the Red Wing laces.

I like these so much, I've bought them twice!I don't like the stretchy synthetic laces for my boots. These are sturdy, and look good with both my boots.

This is a piece of junk. The laces feel like cardboard and are actually creased from shipping. Not bent, not like fabric laces. Creased. There's no way these will handle being in boots. Returning immediately.

Purchased these to go in my LL Bean Bucksport work boots. The laces that came with my boots started breaking apart in less than a month and I needed a replacement set. They’re working, but it doesn’t have as much wax on them compared to my Wolverine 1000 Mile Boot laces.

Got these to replace laces my f’n cat chewed off of a pair of black Wolverine 1000 mile’s. 7 eyelets on the boots and opted for 45”. Color combined with waxed texture make them a perfect match. Length allows me to lace entire way up or tie one eyelet short of the top without having laces drag too low on the boot. They don’t feel as strong as the original laces but time will tell. Glad I found these.

Traditional quality. It seems strange we live in a world where I expect boot laces to be poor quality and I'm excited enough to write a review when they are good, but here we are.

Good for about a season of riding. Need to replace every year because one of the laces will snap from being tied over and over again.
