Wax a little firm, but excellent otherwise

I replaced the laces in my Clarks desert boots and the size was exactly what I needed. The color was not a perfect match and the wax finish was a little firm but that was to be expected (waxed laces). They have held up pretty well so far but due to their slick nature I now need to tie my laces in double knots so they don't come undone. At the end of the day, they are shoe laces and they do the job.

Pros

Great lace, I wish they were like longer. The thickness is fantastic

They may not be as suitable for formal military events
