Wax a little firm, but excellent otherwise
I replaced the laces in my Clarks desert boots and the size was exactly what I needed. The color was not a perfect match and the wax finish was a little firm but that was to be expected (waxed laces). They have held up pretty well so far but due to their slick nature I now need to tie my laces in double knots so they don't come undone. At the end of the day, they are shoe laces and they do the job.
- Great lace, I wish they were like longer. The thickness is fantastic
- They may not be as suitable for formal military events
