Very Limited Support for GoToRoom

If you use it with GoToRoom, expect very limited support. They cannot answer simple questions about their own software running on the device. Poly's software and device are good, but LogMeIn's GoToRoom presents a problem. Even if you buy the device directly from GoToRoom, I don't expect a different experience. There are very few people in their company who know the product and it is impossible to talk to them.

Ideal for virtual meetings.

We have several of these for our Arizona and New Mexico offices and they work great. It was a lot cheaper than buying a conferencing system and very easy for those struggling with the technology. Simple plug and play. Great sound for both sides and I love the speaker's auto framing. My boss loves them, they make me look good. The only problem we have is that the remote controls are not stable. They work for a few minutes and then don't work for a day. Even with new batteries.

Bad camera quality on MacOS

I really wanted to like this camera. We need a camera for our conference room that has a dedicated Mac. I like that it is one device for video, sound and microphone. This is easier for my users as they don't have to deal with multiple remotes and devices. The speaker is clean, the microphone worked well. However, the video was of poor quality. On the 2013 MacPro and 2019 MacBook Pro, the video was grainy and low resolution. It looked like a video call from 2005, not 2021. $20 webcams have theโ€ฆ

Works great - to the point of stopping

Set up in a small company conference room and used from time to time. It was mounted on a TV stand with a large TV and UPS so it could be wheeled around if needed. When the office closed last year, it had not been used for several months. Worked well, especially where it auto-focused on the speaker, so it was perfect for its position at the end of a long table. Sound was good, video quality was acceptable but not great. When it worked I was unhappy with how expensive it was compared to itsโ€ฆ

Excellent camera with impressive sound and noise reduction

What I like: Excellent image quality with the ability to adjust the image in the native Poly application.; The microphone and soundbar are also well equipped with sensors to eliminate background noise for virtual meetings. What I don't like: Installing the soundbar is limited to placing the device on the monitor. I assume there will be other ways to protect the device for such a large department.
