🌿 Style Edit Root Touch Up: Conceal Roots and Grays with Medium Brown Hair Color Review

I've used Style Edit Spray for ugly gray roots, it works but it's hard to get exactly where it's needed. And it's expensive while it lasts. When I saw this product it just made sense. The sponge applicator looks more like blotting paper than an applicator. I prefer the wedge applicator for a more precise application. Otherwise, the product works well as a root touch-up. Easier to use than the Style Edit spray as you have more control over where the pigment is applied.

I have very thick hair except for the front. The thinning is especially noticeable when my hair needs to be colored. I tried this product with the built in sponge brush and will never use anything else. Dark red is quite dark, so if you have light red hair, you can go for medium red. My hair is a light brown color and the auburn gives a realistic look to the roots.

This product works much better than others I've tried. I have black hair that I dye ash blonde at home. This product not only covered my black roots but also my gray hair. It lasts 3 minutes and stays in place until the next wash.

I think I'm late with Style Edit Root Touch up (both powder and mist mask for light brown hair) and I already feel missed out! I love this stuff! I've been using Bumble and Bumble A Tint of Brown Hair Powder for 5 years. It covered my roots well, but the Style Edit products are better and a little cheaper. Style Edit looks much more natural. Update: My natural hair color is very dark brown with a little gray and my hairdresser uses semi-permanent dyes to make it red. This product worked pretty well when I only had 1/2 inch roots. Now that I have 2 inch roots, this helps some colors to blend but doesn't fully cover the dark roots. I'm feeling very shallow during the pandemic worrying about my roots.
