Usually when I here about bad reviews/assembly issues, I dismiss them because I've never had a problem. But people were undoubtedly right; the screws are too short. If you bend the tin cover inwards, you can get the thread to catch but it's not worth the effort. I went to a hardware store and found M5 with .80 pitch are the right screws. I went with a slightly longer screw and it was perfect. Fix cost me about $0.47

I like the towel rack, and it works just fine. It has a wider base than I realized. If I got another one, I would go one size down.

I recently moved and my bathroom doesn’t have a towel rack near my sink so this is a great solution to the problem. I have two cats so needed something that they can’t easily knock over. This is heavily weighted so it’s perfect. Great quality.

This was the PERFECT size! I was searching for a countertop towel rack to hold a hand towel. It needed to be short enough to fall right below my vanity mirror and this fits perfectly. It has a very clean, modern look to it and looks way more expensive than it is. Note that I do have to partially fold my hand towel but I think that adds to the elegance of the towel. Love it!

This towel rack is very sturdy and has held up quite well. The base is a little large but I guess that is why it is so sturdy. It looks very nice in the bathroom. It holds an average sized hand towel and slightly longer than average hand towel perfectly.

Tall enough and wide enough for a range of kitchen towels! Can even hold 2 at a time.The holder is quite tall, but if it were shorter, the longer towels might "puddle” on the base. Also like that however my family rehangs the towel (never straight), it does not touch the counter. The height works for me on the island because I have a tall, bushy ivy plant behind it. I love this towel bar! We moved to an apartment that has a sink in the middle of the island. I didn’t want to damage the cabinets with a towel bar hanging from a drawer. This towel bar works well for us, and so far (2 months), has not had any rust on the bottom. I like that it is heavy enough and does not tip over easily.

Finally! A stand tall enough for a hand towel! (Ignore the color of the towel, I just grabbed one to test). Top and base is held together by a screw and washer. Base is weighted and sturdy with foam pieces for protection. I absolutely love it and put it out as soon as it got here!

This rack is tall enough for a hand towel to hang so your hand towel won’t drag on the counter. It is tall so read the specs before buying. I like this brand because it’s no rust. I have the tissue holder made by the same brand. It’s worth the money. The screw bolt for the hand towel was a bit short but we made it work.

The hardware to assemble base to towel pole was too small. There is no way to assemble it using the hardware provided. Poor workmanship. It didn’t look used, but it did not look brand new. It is dirty and smudged all over. Awful presentation. I will be returning.

I really liked using this until my son accidentally dropped it (with his elbow when he was washing his hands) on the floor from the sink which could happened anytime, but just from this one time falling, it got broken and there is no way to put the parts together. I had difficulty getting the bottom screw on but after several attempts succeeded. the base is larger than most. Think luncheon plate size. It is very sturdy due to the size and heavy base under the base cover.

Good product, I returned the product because I made a mistake and order it too big and it has been received about 5 days ago and I have not yet been refunded, also not convenient when I had to pay $5.99 for a label to return it, the Kohls option is not available for this merchant.

Read the reviews. Just like they say, it is a little short. A normal hand towel drags on the counter and looks kind of messy. It needs to be about an inch taller to look nice and neat.

It was surprisingly hard to find a towel holder with just the right height. This holds a hand towel up without the towel touching the countertop. The build quality is better than I expected. The finish is nicer than I expected. I'd buy it again.
