I purchased a hat on Revain last year for a themed "Derby" party. Loved the hat, color, etc., It was "the" hit of the party hats. Purchased this one this year and the color matched exactly to my planned outfit. However, this hat did not have the "umph" of last year's hat and, although measurement at the rim was only 2 inches shorter, it seemed "much smaller". It's a beautiful hat, however, it runs very small. It was cutting off circulation to my head and left an indention in my forehead from just trying it on. I couldn't return it because I needed it for an event and had no time to reorder another one. I cut the lining out and just wore it with the sharp edges stabbing my forehead for a couple of hours. When I received it, it was a little smash here, n there. But once I fixed it. It is really a beautiful light hat for summer, or even spring. But there has to be a better way to pack their hat's.

The hat is not exactly as pictured. Came inna bag and the ruffles are squished. It will do for the event but it is a little tight. The quality of it isnt terrible by any means just dont expect a giant ruffled hat.

I absolutely love this hat. I wore it to my father's funeral. Can't say anything bad about it. It collapses so I could put it in my suitcase. For areas that were flipped up around the brim of the hat, I put a sheet over it and ironed it and voila! This is a great hat and I thank the 1st lady that posted a pic wearing it. Derby are historically very large and beautiful hats, this hat while cute does not fit the bill. It's not large at all the picture is not a good depiction of what it looks like. So ultimately shop around if you are looking for a good derby hat.

The product comes with a bag to store your hat when not being used. When ready to use you simply take it out of the bag fluff it up and it’s ready to wear. It was so convenient when we traveled. I purchased one for myself and my daughter and we had a great time at a beautiful tea party.
