The weight is significant for a pen, but I appreciate it because it feels like a quality product. The pen writes smoothly and I think it has decent ink, but the cartridge is small. My biggest wish was that I could use this device to position the video playback slider more precisely. While the "touch end" of this thing is pretty thick, it's a lot better than using your fingertip when trying to (hopefully) rewind right to where I need it to be in a guitar instruction video or other play segment. Wow where do I start. This is a great pen. I used to try to get a few, say three or five for about the same price. The stylus part works great when I click links on my iPad. Press lightly on the opposite end and there's a flashlight pin that shines particularly well for its size. When you open the pen you will find that it is indeed a working pen.
