Suburban 161200 Stove Burner Valve Review

Based on my observations and personal experience this valve failed within a few months of installation. The price was attractive, but the product failed with regular use which made me feel cheated .The valve was constructed to withstand moderate conditions, but it couldn't perform its core duty efficiently. On the positive side, the delivery process was fast which made it comfortable for me to receive the valve. Nevertheless, I wouldnt recommend this valve to anyone as it is of poor quality..

I was unable to find a replacement top burner valve for my old Suburban SD-2 range, P/N 161142 A valve fits with a simple modification my old stove The significant difference between the two valves is that the on/off button stem of the new valve is approximately 1/2 inch longer than the old valve and projects slightly higher than the high end of the range.
