My friends asked if I would host their wedding in December. As they are non religious and have a great sense of humor I bought this to use during the ceremony. It arrived in great condition without the marks mentioned in other reviews. The pages were a little torn, but overall it was the perfect accompaniment to my speech!

The packaging is a transparent envelope with white letters and when I removed it the white letters migrated into the black covers of the book. The word "piston" was clearly visible, and where all the text was on the packaging, there were fragments of other letters and white spots. This spoiled the appearance of the cover a bit. The binding was also coming loose a bit when I received it, but it wasn't anything a dab of glue wouldn't fix. It has genuine pages and is otherwise a great product but…

Um, for $10 that's a great deal. I bought it for fun and didn't rule out almost anything, but it's actually MUCH nicer than I expected and qualifies as a real book. Note: It doesn't say "Bible" here, but literally "Good book." I had the protective plastic sleeve mentioned in other reviews (which I removed to make my recipient think I was giving them an actual Bible) but it did not carry the white letters describing the product but held that Book just like and expected in good condition.
