In a pack, one brush is usually longer than the other. They are designed with a longer brush for the inside and a shorter brush for the outside of the teeth. I couldn't tell any difference in the brush length. They both appear to be the same, which is a bit disappointing.

I've been using Sulcabrush for a year or two and the first bristles I bought were stiff, hard and thick packed and each lasted a long time - many months. The new ones I got are softer and less dense as if each had fewer bristles. And it feels like none of them will definitely last as long as the old ones I had. Apparently the manufacturer saves on quality. I will still use these - I bought 48 as they are great for my oral health but the quality has definitely gone down.

The bristles may feel a little too hard until the brush helps restore healthy gums. The problem lies in the chronic condition of the gums.
