I use this bobbin thread in my Babylock Ellegante 3 for embroidery and general sewing. My stitches come out nice and my machine doesn't get tangled with bad thread in the bobbin. This is necessary if you have a sewing or embroidery machine. I like the Sulky brand because they offer a great price and consistent quality.

I didn't want to spend a fortune on a pack of thread spools so I bought this single spool. Big mistake. The bobbin thread now shines through over my appliqués. I have a Brother machine and have always used Brother bobbin thread. It appears to be the same weight, but the difference is huge. I don't understand why it could have made such a big difference, but it did. I went back to the Brother theme and my problem was gone. Don't waste money on it.

I bought this thread a few years ago and it was great! But my recent purchases have been disappointing. He's not that good anymore. It used to be fine in texture with a slight sheen, great in strength, uniform in diameter, and ideal for machine embroidery. But now it seems to be made of a different fiber. It looks almost fuzzy and looks like it's made of short-staple cotton that's spliced unevenly. It breaks easily and ruined the tension on my car. Very disappointing. I need to find a better…
