Sulyn Colorful Thick Elastic Cord Beading & Jewelry Making Review

Arrived 2 days early which was nice. I use it in my Midori travel notebook. It's a bit thinner than the ones that come with it. The color variety is nice, though, and at such a low price (Prime $3.39), replacing them isn't a problem. And now I'm looking for other uses ;o)

It's actually a little expensive for the brand and the number of meters you get. I have the same brand but 5 meters from Hobby Lobby for half the price. And it's VERY thin! Not fat at all. You need to weave 2 threads together. So if you don't feel like going to the local store and want something as flimsy as rope then this is for you. If not, don't buy. I'm honestly disappointed with this purchase.

This is an amazing 1.2mm thick elastic cord. "Thick" is a relative term, so to get a feel for what that means, most elastic hair ties are around 2mm thick (almost twice the thickness of this cord). This means that this cord is very suitable for a notepad as it is not so thick that it becomes unwieldy and it can be attached so that it stretches a bit without curling the pages or - if the notepad is a paperback. - Twisting the entire notebook.
