Now I can use my older dell AC adapters.I also have a working replacement AC adapter that was $20-which isn't bad. I've tried at least three other products that claimed to fit my exact model and did not so be careful.

Understand when purchasing this that it may not work as intended. There are other factors besides voltage, amperage (or wattage), polarity, and connector. Even if this adapts the connector it still may not work. I had a number of older HP power adapters that were the same voltage and polarity, and sufficient amperage for my new Dell XPS 13, but when I use this to plug them in, I get a warning that the laptop can't determine the supplied wattage and the battery will not charge. Works for Dell XPS 12 9Q33 with older Dell charger. However, it is not perfect fit, small tip end is a bit loose aand can not plug all the way in. There is gap both ends due adapter longer tip end and adapter shorter plug end.

This cheap adapter allows me to charge my work laptop without buying and extra full charger, so I'm very happy to have it.

I use this unit to convert an old dell powerpack for use on my new HP. It works well and saves me from buying additonal powerpacks. Also, I like the size of the dell powepacks more than the HP so it's nice to be able to use the Dell with the HP laptop.

My old Kensington Universal Laptop power supply doesn't have the correct tip for my slightly old Dell XPS 13. This adapter allows me to use the 'N19' tip to power my laptop. Using this for my Dell Inspiron 13 2-in-1 ultrabook and it works great. The tip is a little longer than what my laptop needs but it's still secure and hasn't slipped out or bent. Great way to make use of my older dell bricks that were just laying around unused.

It fits, but it says plugged in not charging. While I cant say for sure, I am almost certain that this is what killed my Dell Inspirion 13 (the next time I tried to charge it with the standard charger, the computer would not take a charge or even get enough juice to power on) and on my HP it says "Plugged in, not charging" and I don't want to kill this one by waiting to see if it works.

Worked great! And since I had an older Dell power supply sitting around I save about $75 with this adapter. I have a new Dell XPS 15 and it charges with no issues.

I bought this so I can use a Dell slim AC power adapter on my Inspiron 13 7000 which has the new small 5 mm jack. This cable works fine. My only concern is its longevity as an additional piece in the charging apparatus. Still if it fails it is inexpensive to replace.

This connector saved me trouble of having to bring multiple power supplies when I am on a trip. Good accessory. I wish Dell make all computers use the smaller version so this product is not needed. Well they decide not to do that so this product saves my day.

Did not work at all. Electrically, the connector to the power supply worked but the connector to the laptop was not the proper size by a fraction of a mm and did not actually power the laptop.

Powers a Dell Precision M3800, but will not charge the battery while it's on. I assume it doesn't recognize the charger as being authentic. Not a big deal for me as I bought it as a backup to leave in my backpack.

Needed an adapter for my mother's work laptop since her idiot boss couldn't wrap his around the fact that the replacement adapter he provider her had a connector too big to fit it the charging port. This little adapter has worked flawlessly and my mom is very happy with it.
