Keeps my 6v battery fully charged even on cloudy days. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the wiring needs to be armored to keep pests from chewing through.

After dealing with cheap factory plastic solar panels on game feeders that cost twice as much I replaced them with this product and couldn't be happier. Sturdy construction and easy to install on my feeders.

I bought it to charge Ring Doorbell 2nd generation. The Ring isn't really an acceptable solar doorbell charger, and I didn't want to spend $50 on a Ring solar panel that I'd have to customize anyway. So this one seemed reasonable at $21. A few tweaks to the cord and doorbell bracket keep my doorbell charged - I no longer have to take it off the wall to charge every 6 weeks. The battery is currently at 91% charge.

TLDR: This is a well made solar panel that comes with a mounting bracket and maybe 10 feet of wire with alligator clips on the ends. It's perfect for any small 6V application. I wanted to experiment with solar panels, so I bought a small battery, a solar panel and a DC/DC converter. The intention was to charge a 12v battery and use the converter (6v out) to run some of the 6v fans I had in case of a power outage. But in the end I settled on a 6v battery and this solar panel and use it regularly

First off, I would like to address the reviews that said they ordered a 6 volt panel and it turned out to be 12 volt+. Yes, if you check the panel voltage on an open circuit with no load it will read 12 volts or more in direct sunlight. I registered up to 13.3 volts. But when you connect to the load, i.e. to the battery, it drops to about 6.5 volts. I've included photos and a short video showing how I connected and charged it versus no load.
