Sunbeam 3963 Wall Mount Organizer Review

I bought this to wall mount an ironing board in our laundry room. It also fits an iron and there is room for a cord at the bottom. Easy to install, seems solid, looks good and does exactly what I wanted. By the way, the picture on Revain doesn't help.

Very large iron and board organizer. EXACTLY what I was looking for for my Rowenta DW5080. It is well made, durable, has 3 screw holes, comes with 3 mollies and screws. It also has 3 silicone pads for hot ironing during cool down time, fully covered metal hooks.

This is a great idea and wide enough to fit a Rowenta iron, but you need to mount it too high on the wall to keep the ironing board off the floor. Tall enough that the iron is too tall and you have to be 6ft tall to reach it. We measured where it was supposed to go and decided it was too high and didn't mount it so I have a nice iron cart, new and useless.

Hanger saves space. I installed it in my laundry room and it keeps the space very organized. The iron space fits most irons because the iron I have looks dated, it's a retro iron with a metal handle and base and it fits perfectly on a shelf. Missing a star for iron wire place. There isn't enough room for the wire, and it may be better to remove that spot.

Goes perfectly with the German iron we bought; all others were too tight. My only regret is that I don't feel safe putting a "freshly used" hot iron in this wall "organizer". So I have to go back and hang it up once the iron has cooled (worries me if there are small children around). The hooks, which I think are meant for hanging an ironing board, actually hold the iron cord very well (a plus).

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's bigger so it fits in my full size iron and you can use the ironing board hooks or not which I really liked too. I hang mine in a closet under the stairs and can't use the ironing board hooks - I LOVE that they were a separate piece that could or couldn't be used. The plastic feels solid and installing it on drywall with no bolts was easy. I'm glad I bought it and so glad my iron is off my dryer!

Sturdy mount that works well with my iron. The iron holder is made of durable plastic that seems to work with a hot iron, but I haven't tested the stability. For cord storage, a wire bar or tie could be used to hold the iron's power cord, but this is a suggestion for further improvement, not a complaint. I installed it with the ironing board resting on the floor and holding on to the hook of this organizer. Don't expect problems for a long time.

This is a great way to keep your iron and board tidy and out of the way! I was glad it could hold my large iron! I'm only giving it 4 stars because it was very difficult to install - the hooks holding the ironing board keep slipping off when trying to screw the screws into the wall. Good quality plastic product, looks very durable. It comes with the hardware needed for installation on wood or drywall. I read a review where they had trouble keeping the hooks in place during installation. I think they used the wrong technique. Although the part that wraps around the hooks should be made tighter, it's still easy to install.
