I bought these to add LED lighting to the basement of an 1840's house with 4 x 5 floor joists - 6 inch boxes will not fit. This is the ideal solution (although the nails are not driven, drilled and screwed into 180-year-old wood, as is usual). I needed another one which was $17 at a big store.

We used Sunco Lighting New Construction 4 inch enclosures in several rooms. They're easy to install (adjustable mounting brackets with preformed wire studs really save time, and preformed wire connectors make hookup easy) and the price is great! Highly recommended!

We ordered 3 boxes of 10 and 1 box of 6. The 6-pack was of much better quality. not so thin and much better nails were provided. These were different higher quality designs but otherwise it's hard to tell as the cans and wires looked the same. Hope they work. paid electric submarine for installation in a new building on the beach. Go with box 6, not 10!

I installed these in my dining room and was impressed with all the detail these lights come with. Multiple width adjustments. You can even move the mounting brackets to the other side of the light if needed. The bars are even notched so they can be snapped off in tighter spaces. They also have connectors for wiring. All you need is some Romex to put these things together. Everything else is there. I am very happy with them!

I bought these for my basement storage room. I painted the ceiling black to hide all those ugly wires and pipes, then used the recessed lights to finally get a look. Candles are great! They're a nice warm white, not that blinding blue-white light you sometimes get. They made all the shadows disappear in the corners. You are exactly what I wanted. For fast LED connection only. It supplies a 120 V LED plug-in lamp (not included in delivery). A big plus: the junction box is pre-equipped with triple spur cable connectors! No more wire nuts!
