Great set for your money!

Fantastic set, I have a "parts basket" Triumph with SAE and metric brake fittings. This set has everything I need at a great price and even better quality. Sunex is my favorite automotive tool brand!

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Damaged

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Previously used in key sets

Slightly scratched as shown in the picture. Shows me it has been used before unless it happened during the manufacturing process. That being said, if it weren't for the review, this product would have received at least 4 stars.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Not fully tested yet - I have mixed thoughts for now 50/50

I originally bought this kit to remove a bracket on a rack but it doesn't seem strong enough to remove a bracket, and seems to be so at the moment of slipping and damage to the fitting. I've used them on the master cylinder and they seem to work fine.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Expensive

Pretty good set and value for money

As someone said the heads are thicker compared to previous inline wrenches I've used. They are good quality, durable and come in a nice canvas roll. Made in India not China so they are well designed and look good quality. 1/4"-11/16 and 9-21mm. This is a decent set and a good buy but I need a size range down to the low end.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Well made, but too thick for narrow aisles.

I bought these to remove and install new brake lines on my vintage car. They worked well but I had trouble bleeding the drum brakes due to their thickness. I ended up having to use a deep well ratchet on my bleed screws due to clearance issues. They appear to be very well made and I love the box they come in.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Something else

With limited use they worked well. I agree that the heads are thicker than they should be, making close work difficult. They are well labeled and easy to read. The finish is not bad, although the paint is a bit hazy in places (not polished). I don't need them often and this set serves my purpose at a decent price. If I were a pro or a serious mechanic I would spend a little more.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Poorly made heads are too wide and bulky

Decided to add too much metal strapping to the tool. This makes the instruments too thick. Although they are quite rigid, they are so unwieldy that they cannot be used in the tightest of spaces. I do not recommend this. Buy a better Madeceit tool, made of better metal and thinner to match. Final Thoughts. I wish I still had the American set I had years ago. I would have returned them but lost a tool and three from the bag they were in.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Happy with them, the quality I expect from Sunex.

Both the wrenches and the bag are of the quality I expect from Sunex. My only problem is registering warranties for sunex tools. I have bought many Sunex tools and when I am offered to register a warranty they ask for a serial number. Problem? None of the Sunex tools I've purchased have ever had a serial number that was clearly stated on the box or purchase page. Against this background, I was never able to fill in this field correctly. I haven't broken the Sunex tool yet, but if I do I have to

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Used them at work ma'am. Needs improvement

So here's my honest review. I have never doubted that Sunex has been using their Impact products for a long time. However, with these brake line wrenches, they need to up their game. Pros - Thick, glossy bolt hole design. Cons - While working with bleed screws, my Milwaukee wrenches performed better than these. Once you have bled the brakes, tighten the key. hose first. If you put a hose on the bleeder, the thick head of the wrench won't get to the bleeder screw. I would recommend the Tool…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
