These are very handy to see if water has been sterilized. A very simple system. And inexpensive enough to have a backup in case I lose another one. Fast delivery repackaged.

Cons
  • Clarity

An amazing device anyone can use to test clean water

This is an amazing invention. Works so well and easily that a five year old can handle it. Checked with a thermometer and it matched the advertised temperature and pasteurization time.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Volume

A simple, low-tech item that gets the job done

Indispensable when you need to provide safe drinking water, when fuel and time are at a premium. You can simply boil water for 6 minutes, but heating the water to 165 degrees for 6 minutes does the trick and is an easy, reusable way to check the temperature.

Pros
  • Reusable
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Tiny but powerful, no what-ifs, peace of mind when checking water safety

I've wanted one of these for a long time, it's being used to demonstrate to church youth how to do it Make sure water is pasteurized with sun or fuel. VERY small, does not take up space in travel gear, which is very convenient when needed.

Pros
  • Essential for emergencies
Cons
  • Available in black only
