Very soft color suitable for LED lamps

This is a picture of our Sunlite 80124-SU LED PAR16 that we have just purchased. I photographed the new lamp installed alongside three existing ORIGINAL Par16 halogen lamps. I can't tell them apart. Believe it or not, the bulb on the far right of the photo is a new Sunlite product. We expected to swap out all the bulbs as the Sunlite would be brighter or whiter. If you like a soft color like the original Halogen Par16, this is a good choice. Quick update: After dimming the light to the minimum…

very good (5000K bright white)

Sunlite test 80543 LED Par 16, longneck, 7W/75W, 500 lumen, spot, 5000k; very nice bright white light. Definitely in the 75W range. Few others here have rated this LED spotlight with a range of 5000,000. Very bright white. (I believe the lower 3000K ranges introduce some yellowing). My old headlight bulb gave off a lot of heat and these gave off almost no heat after 20 minutes. Old lanterns heated up my apartment after 20 minutes (very hot/dangerous). It's not a very long neck for deeper…

I have some PAR 16 track lights in a room with high ceilings. Previously they were 75W halogen. Aside from the significant energy savings with these LEDs, I'm hoping they last a lot longer than intended as I quite often have to climb a tall ladder to replace previous halogens. Another issue is that the old 75 watt par 16s are not available locally, I have always had to order online. The old lamps were brand Sylvania Narrow Bay par16. I was looking for an LED version that was reasonably priced…
