Description of 🕯️ Sunlite ShabBulb Shabbat Permissible Equivalent: Transforming Lighting for Shabbat Observance

This A19 household bulb has an Easy slide lever to hide, reveal and dim light making it permissible to use on Shabbat. This LED light bulb produces a warm white illumination like the classic incandescent bulb. This bulb is mechanically dimmable. No special hardware, lamp, or light fixture necessary to operate this light bulb. Light bulb fits any medium base bedside lamp, living room lamp, or any other lighting fixture. Reading in the dark or sleeping in light doesn’t make for a restful Shabbat. Whether you’re home or traveling, the ShabBulb offers manual light control without compromise. This Multi-volt (110-240 Volts) bulb makes it compatible with international fixtures, making it ideal for travel or a great gift for anyone. Endorsed and Certified by the OU, Belz Kosher Supervision and many other Orthodox rabbis, See packaging for details.

A must for Shabbat!

BEST product for Shabbat. I get a completely dark or fully lit room whenever I want. I also use it for a week to get a low light when I'm feeding my baby in the middle of the night but don't want to be stimulated by overhead lights in the room. I've had it for 2.5 years and I haven't burned out yet (bli ayyn hara). We bought a second one for our dressing room. We recommend.

Pros
  • Reading in the dark or sleeping in the light does not contribute to a peaceful Shabbat. Whether at home or traveling, ShabBulb offers uncompromised manual light control.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great for Shabbat. Best LED Lamps

We benefit a lot from these lights on Saturday nights and late afternoon. I can continue reading by closing the hood when it's time for bed. My older kids kept asking me to get one for each of them so I appreciated the discounted price of this great value pack. The lamps lasted a long time; My eldest is over a year old now, no issues, no flickering, just a good reading light. Great invention! - levy

Pros
  • This multi-volt lamp (110-240V) is compatible with international fixtures, making it ideal for travel or a great gift for anyone.
Cons
  • Some little things

Great idea, but impractical for most Sabbath situations.

I was dying to like this lamp as it would be great to use a less distinctive Shabbat lamp than a classic tower, so I tried these lamps as a bedside lamp that I can turn on before bed and then turn off (I would not recommend it in the guest room as this would require too much attention from the guests). The Bad: They are difficult to move without touching another part of the lamp i.e. the mukza. Although the lightbulb is specifically designed to be touched on Shabbat, sometimes when the switch…
