Removable plate already broken

Good light tripod but removable plate broke when using the iPad mount - just not strong enough I think! I need to order more from the manufacturer for $9 each - I can't find the right size on Amazon.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Used once and broken

This tripod used once. When I started using it for the SECOND time, the head grip binding broke like a toothpick. Try to find parts for this thing. Much luck. It pays to have a little extra weight to get quality gear.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • New competitors emerged

SUNPAK 5858D TRIPOD Tall, light weight

I liked this tripod for the adjustable height, lightweight aluminum and ease of use/installation. stop sliding back down. The neck height adjustment knob was a nice touch. I use a small Canon digital camera and a small, light Samsung camcorder on this tripod with no problems. The quick release makes it easy to take pictures for review after each shot. The ONLY downside is the unstable wobble when adjusting the tilt from left to right, it just won't lock and the spring kicks it back even after I

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
