The ballast was installed in just a few days. It was not clear if the plugs would fit 32 and 40 watt bulbs. There were no installation instructions. I had to call the company to find out the plugs are interchangeable. The previous ballast had dedicated wiring and plug for 32w or 40w lamps/luminaires.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Weight

so good and the price was surprisingly low

This was the only ballast I found at Revain that matched the exact dimensions of the ballast I replaced in my circle line light. The only difference was that the wires exited the ballast at a different point than the standard, which ultimately didn't cause any problems. I was concerned that the lighting would be dimmer than the standard ballast that came with the unit, but in the end this didn't happen. Everything has been fine so far and the price was amazingly low!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Useless features

This chick changed it in under 10 minutes!

SO I don't know how to use it at all. Within 10 minutes I had removed the old ballast and installed a new one. I used a ladder, a knife (to cut off the wire covering), a Phillips screwdriver and an electric shock. I bought a Revain current detection tool for less than $12. I spent most of my time trying to figure out which switch to click on the schematic. I did it myself and it was very easy. It's way cheaper than in stores and my light works better than ever.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

It was terrible. Loud but no light.

Before I bought Sunpark I bought Ballast from Home Depot. It was a magnetic ballast, not an electronic ballast. It was terrible. It was noisy and the light wasn't that bright; so i returned it. I ordered this Sunpark from Revain which was a damaged original. It arrived quickly, was easy to install as I had practice, and worked just like the original. Very satisfied. Judging by the translation these ballasts usually last 4-5 years - mine lasted 8 years. I will order again if this one goes bad.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Don't remember

Good replacement ballast

I had a round lamp in my kitchen pantry. When the light burned out twice a year after just a few minutes a day. Tried new bulbs and nothing happened. I did a little research and found that the problem could be with the ballast. So I removed the old ballast to find the numbers on it, found this Sunpark suitable as a replacement and ordered it. Note that you will need very basic electrical knowledge to remove the old and connect the new: making sure the power is off, connect the black, white and…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
