Since my uncle is 83 years old, he does not study new devices. He can't set up the TV to watch DVDs. He loves the portable DVD player and refuses to take it outside for fear of losing it. Even if he doesn't watch a DVD for more than 15 minutes, he looks happy when he accidentally walks in and can work without getting upset or asking for help. Although he keeps the volume up when I'm reading I think it was a great investment allowing him to do this and retain a degree of autonomy.

UPDATE: AFTER A FEW WEEKS OF EMAILING SEVERAL PEOPLE THEY FINALLY MAINTAINED YOUR WARRANTY AND SENT ME A REPLACEMENT. At first the DVD player worked great. 6 months later it stopped working and I have been emailing the company daily for a week but they keep emailing me that they are not receiving my emails and will not honor their guarantee. That's ridiculous. Why so many tires under warranty. I would not waste my money with this company because they do not honor their guarantees. Your customer

We went to the beach with the whole family. I wanted my 12 and 14 year old girls to be able to switch off and watch their own programming. We bought 2 of these DVD players and they were a hit. All the girls were happy, mom and dad were great and the trip was amazing. DVD players fit in a bag that snapped around the headrest, but girls could detach them to watch movies at home on vacation, it was the best of both worlds. USB ports so the battery was outdated on the trip. Recommend something like

This item was perfect for our trip to Florida with our 9 month old. It kept her busy and helped her sleep during the trip. The picture was clear, the volume was great, I loved that it could be placed on the headrest in the suitcase so my LO sitting backwards could see something on it. And the blinker was great too. My son loves this DVD player, we mainly use it when we travel. He's tired of the car so it helps to distract him while we drive, the remote control is great because we can change his volume from the front seat if needed and also stop/start his little shows. The picture quality surprised and delighted, as did the sound. We only charged it once and the battery lasted 2.5 hours there and back. A big plus for me is that if you turn it off with the button on the side, it picks up where it left off…
