Great buy for seniors
Since my uncle is 83 years old, he does not study new devices. He can't set up the TV to watch DVDs. He loves the portable DVD player and refuses to take it outside for fear of losing it. Even if he doesn't watch a DVD for more than 15 minutes, he looks happy when he accidentally walks in and can work without getting upset or asking for help. Although he keeps the volume up when I'm reading I think it was a great investment allowing him to do this and retain a degree of autonomy.
