This shows up as a universal smart card reader

On Ubunu with opensc and opensc-tools installed (they are in the default Ubuntu repository) this is displayed as a universal smart card reader. Seems to work with PIVKey C910 PKI Smart Card (http://www.amazon.com/PIVKey-C910-PKI-Smart-Card/dp/B00SJV2CNK). A limitation of the PIVKey card: Programming the card requires a Windows system and vendor control software. I'm still learning.

Pros
  • water and electricity charges, chargers, taxes, plug and play support
Cons
  • is too dumb

Pros
  • Credit card billing, cash payment, reading SIM data, Win 2000/XP/Vista/7 driver available
Cons
  • There are problems
