You get what you pay for a good product

The only issue I have with this product is that when USB-C charging is already connected and HDMI is already connected, you can use the laptop bring home and connect the display, now it doesn't work when you unplug the charging cable, then hdmi works and you can charge via usb c again, also the product is very convenient.

. I bought this hub for my MacBook Pro and I like it at first sight

I bought this hub for my MacBook Pro and I like it at first sight. It has aluminum gearing with a good quality feel. Also, it's small and light, so you can put this hub in your pocket when travelling. I travel a lot and have to do presentations for work. This hub fully meets my needs. It features 4K HDMI for easy connection to projectors and a USB port for laser pointers. With this hub look, it's like an extension of my computer with a nice color scheme. Like it a lot!

Everything works as expected

Use this for a 2017 Macbook Pro that only has USB C and needs this dongle to connect everything. The HDMI port works for 4K TV connections. The SD port reads SD cards for importing and exporting files. Finally, USB 3.0 works as expected, a simple plug and play adapter. The design is slim and stylish, in fact it's much lighter than I expected but it's easy to carry, it fits in your pocket.

Get one with 2 USB-C ports. It doesn't stay in properly.

Do not buy this product, it is very defective. I can't charge my laptop and when I plug in my MacBook it blinks blue and doesn't work until after 5-30 minutes it randomly stops blinking. If you need something like this product, get another brand with two USB-C ports so it stays in your laptop and doesn't feel like it's going to fall out. The material looked ok, but turned out to be rubbish. I used this for maybe a week before going back to my USB to USB-C adapters.

It's Fine Electronics

Overall. my title speaks for itself. It does what you need, but no more. It plugs into my laptop, works with my standard USB ports, and charges or connects anything I need. In my experience, the USB-C port on the device doesn't support laptop charging very well. Communication is finicky and not very reliable. Also, and this is probably just a minor issue, the USB ports don't seem to be deep enough and the entire device feels flimsy when plugged in, making it seem like something is about to come
