An Otterbox might be the best option

This case is extremely difficult to get on the iPad. To the point where I thought I might damage the iPad. Video doesn't help as the case isn't pliable. As soon as you almost break your iPad by putting a screen protector on the screen, the back will be exposed. It's a hard rubber so it's a little easier to sit on, but not by much. To be fair, the included screen protector is better than the otter. It's all the same. Another issue I had was getting the screen protector dust free. The problem is…

I recently received this Beetle case for my iPad Air. Your iPads got scratched while installing a case. I ordered an Otterbox but unfortunately the shipping took forever (3+ weeks not via Amazon) so I just ordered this despite my doubts. After receiving the case and watching the installation video, I have to say that the people who had a problem installing the case were probably not the smartest bunch. Great case, one year after warranty

Beetle Defense from Supcase fitted my iPad very well and provided really great protection for the first two years. The warranty is one year and in November I have a case for three years. The case consists of a flexible polymer shell into which the user inserts a rigid plastic frame with a transparent screen protector. The case doesn't even look worn. Excellent protection by key performance!

Pro: This case fits the first generation iPad Air 1, model A1474, like a glove. Fits well but requires some force to attach. The touchscreen sensitivity is excellent, as if there were nothing there (there is a thin screen protector). It's durable, offers ample protection, and is relatively slick for a bulkier case. My screen protector fits perfectly, no gaps, and it kind of feels like it.

I think they may have reconsidered this product after some reviews. There are no more tabs to open and installing this new version seems much easier than the videos posted by the main reviewer. Additionally, some reviewers reported an issue with a screen protector that wasn't precisely rated for full contact with the screen, resulting in rainbows or glare. Apparently that has been fixed too. Mine arrived without tabs which made installation much easier. Also, my screen protector fits perfectly,

I can't say enough how much I love SUPCASE Beetle products. I replaced the Otter-Box Defender twice before trying SUPCASE on my iPhone. Doesn't matter. I was so happy with my phone case that I ordered one for my iPad Air. You didn't disappoint us. The case included a link to an installation video.
