The plastic is a bit cheap but for the price I paid I can't complain. It holds my surface well, fits snugly, so don't worry about it falling off. This can help avoid small falls, e.g. from a table, but no more. Just make sure to get a good screen protector.

This is a really tough case. I really wanted something to protect my $1500 investment and I made the wise choice. The stand is really solid and I feel the case can take a lot of force. I will definitely be going to this company for all my protective cases.

Definitely good value for money. My only criticism of this case is that the stand is limited. This is good for further lying on your back, but not good for standing up. Also, I had a small lid drop on the computer and the computer was definitely responding. Didn't mean to interfere. The SD card is covered, so you need to remove the cover to access this port. Otherwise you can't go wrong for the money.

Pros: Very strong construction for protection Perfect for Surface Pro 3 positions and requires little assembly effort. If you're using a stylus, it needs to be slid up and down to get it out of the mount, not just to remove it. All in all a pretty solid case for the price.

used in Surface Pro 5. The case is durable and offers good protection. Adds a bit of weight and bulk, but not that bad. The pen holder holds the pen securely. The only downside is the kickstand mechanism. Feels very dubious when opening and closing. It looks like it might break. Very tough and durable. It will definitely feel heavier once you get used to not having a case for your Surface, but you won't worry about it hitting here and there anymore. If you like your Surface and plan on keeping it for a while, this purchase is a no-brainer.
