🎒 High-capacity Tank Bag - Super 2.0 Edition Review

I loved the style, size, fit and comfort of this tank bag but now after 3 years of use the zipper teeth are misaligned and the zipper will not close. Nothing else has failed. Will I spend another $80 and hope to get more lives out of the same bag? I do not know yet.

I couldn't find a nice little HD rear bag in the configuration/shape I wanted so I bought this tank bag and with some effort managed to attach it to the backpack. Trunk of my R1200GS. I use it to hold my very large and heavy chain and lock. much better solution than full luggage. through the city.

I installed this on my 2007 BMR RT. It took a bit of work to get the straps properly adjusted, but it fits the tank really well, is easy to remove and put back on, and has enough volume for my needs (mainly spare goggles, lens/visor cleaning kit, wallet, garage door opener, USB cable/battery pack, snacks, large 1 liter water container.

Bag dimensions are outside, not inside. This is a very small bag. 10 liters? I imagine 10 liters as 5 x 2 liter soda bottles, that just doesn't fit. I was only able to fit a 2 liter bottle in there with little room for a couple of bananas and a few cans of beef stew. I know it's the wrong way to measure it, but it's small. The materials are good, but not suitable for everyday use.

The perfect little bag. I have a large cortech bag in the same style as on tour. Wanted something smaller for daily commutes etc. Perfect size to fill up the gas tank when I drive aggressively (which I do a lot!) and expandable to grab groceries on the way home. I needed a belt pouch for my BMW R1200S. Love the Cortech style, every other bag worth considering doesn't match the look. Good price.
