faulty item buttons do not work on wii console very dissatisfied do not buy does not cost $5 . It's a shame when they make things these days and don't even test or guarantee items if they don't work properly. February/March 2016 update

I have ordered 2 from this customer 2 days apart and both are not working properly upon receipt. The attack buttons work in tandem with the launch button, but the joystick doesn't work at all. This is the same for both controllers. It's quite frustrating to receive controllers that remind me of my childhood and don't work.

The remote didn't seem to respond well but I figured it might be me. Then he didn't react at all. I'd love to recommend it, but it breaks if you can't return it. Buy a Wii controller and trust me, I only have one Wii to play Super Mario All-Stars. I'm from the old school. I don't play all those "newfangled" games :-D But it was possible to play straight away with minimal stress and in fact the interface is the same.
