Use the product for sewing cushions. I needed the hem to hold the zipper until I sewed it on. Works perfectly. The only drawback is that it doesn't last longer than a few minutes on some fabrics. No problem, just sew fast lol

This tape is just what I need when working with zippers, especially when using vinyl or leather. It's narrow so there isn't enough seam allowance. No sticky needles. Its adhesion is strong, so it securely holds parts that might get messed up with pins. I ordered three rolls of this material!

Perfect for attaching a zipper as it's only 1/8" wide (ie if attached to the outside of a zipper tape or fabric edge it's much less likely to show through) .To achieve the same result I used 1/4" double tape halfway from the edge to achieve the same result. This tape is a real time saver, and the improvement in accuracy *can't* be said for the overall finished product. I've bought more.

Yes. Definitely strong. I recommend not trying to sew it through as it will get stuck in the needle. It will hold your fabric in place but not sure what will happen to it if you wash it as the project I'm using it on doesn't wash until it gets dirty (depending on use). It peels off fairly easily if you're not trying to rub it into the fabric. However, rubbing it into the fabric at the ends of the tape will make the paper layer easier to remove. I'm using this for an outdoor upholstery project and the tape works well for positioning pieces without pins. It holds the canvas well when I'm machine sewing I try to position the tape so that I don't have to sew through it by placing it in the seam allowances but away from the sewing line and tape them again (using the same piece of tape.)
