Excellent magnet. Be careful what you use so the magnet doesn't scratch the paint. It sure is strong. As advertised, good quality cable, works well with my scanner.

For some reason the bracket is aluminum which doesn't hold most car antennas very well. I had to order a stainless steel bracket separately.

As others have said, the outer end is detached and is in no way weatherproof. I thought the company would fix this after all the feedback, but no. And the thinnest coaxial cable I've ever seen in my life.

The product is reliable and practical. The only thing I didn't like was the rubber seal. As you enter and tighten the fastener, the seal twists and folds back. I would suggest that you put some lube around the inner hole mount to reduce the friction the binding causes.

There are people now who look down on magazine releases as they would rather drill holes in sound vehicles. Well this bracket is not vehicle mounted, it is on top of my network box where I have all my radios. The mount is very strong and I don't have to worry about it coming loose. I hooked this up to an NMO Larsen 800mhz antenna and it works great! And even with the PL259 BNC connector!

For $20, disappointment. Where the cable connects to the NMO connector it's not very reliable or waterproof. For the price I would have expected a little better quality. I took hot glue, smeared it on the wire connection and sealed a small thin plastic cover that looks like it should protect the connection. I would not recommend this product. As received it is not suitable for exterior vehicle trim and will short out when wet.
