This is a well made product but I found the pictures to be misleading. They showed that they could fold the body in three and flatten it a bit. But when fully loaded, it doesn't add up. All I can do is unroll it, leaving an odd, jagged, and unsightly edge when you finally close it. As a result, it doesn't fit in the space I designed to keep it. I believe this will be helpful but not what I wanted based on the pictures.

I was concerned that after reading some reviews I would regret the purchase but actually I like it. I think I would have preferred a hard tome, but most should have been bought with pencils. Anyway, I like the protective leather strip that goes over the leash to protect it from breaking or chafing. All of my graphite and paper end caps fit in here and there is still plenty of room. This pencil case is the best. I used a large bottle of Gatorade cut in half to put my pens in. Worked well until one of them fell over and then it was like playing pickup sticks. This case fixes that problem and also keeps all color groups together so no more wasting time looking for the right color. Excellent product, very well finished. I use a lot of inks and crayons, this one was made specifically for crayons, but I was able to fit copic multiliners, copic markers, brushes, kuratake pens in it, so plenty to choose from. The loops are nice and tight and the handles stay tight, the handles don't fit very well but the loop has stretched enough and hasn't lost its elasticity. I use this case for a set of 72 Prismacolor Premiere colored pencils. I prefer this suitcase to suitcases that look like books or three-ring binders because I can put it on the table next to me and see all my colors at once. If you have 72 long pencils in it and then close it, a pencil or two will stick out of the rim.
