It was comfortable but the velcro quickly came off

I bought it for my wife. She wanted something less bulky but with a hoop (some small ones don't have a hoop). Overall she says it was comfortable and helped with her carpal tunnel. Unfortunately, the velcro is weak and not durable. The part that covers her thumb no longer stays completely away. This is also two weeks later.

  • Braces, Splints and Supports
Cons

Really comfortable

I was definitely concerned about the comfort of this brace. I thought it might be hard and uncomfortable especially when sleeping. On the contrary, it was really comfortable. Although it didn't make the pain and numbness go away, it did help. It's easy to put on and also easy to adjust if you find it's too tight or not tight enough. If you are worried about the comfort, you will be satisfied with the comfort.

Pros
  • Arm, hand and finger support
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

A little small for an XL hand, but it works.

I wear a brace at night to keep my wrist straight. It works but is a bit small so I have to carefully adjust it to make sure it doesn't put pressure on my wrist or aggravate the carpel tunnel. I have a hard time finding gloves big enough for my hands so this brace will probably fit most people. The inner mesh bothers me a bit when putting it on, but makes it comfortable to wear. This is probably best for medium to large hands but works for my XL as well.

Pros
  • Health and Household
Cons
  • Expensive

Disappointment with medical supplies and equipment

Because of my carpal tunnel I have to wear an orthosis at night when I sleep. If I don't, my arms and hands will go to sleep and I'll wake up in pain. I needed new straps because mine was literally falling apart at the seams. They looked like they were doing fine. and although they keep my arms and hands awake, they leave very deep dents in my skin when I wake up in the morning. and those indentations are really painful. My old wrist guards didn't dig into my skin that much at all. I even tried

Pros
  • Orthotics, splints and braces

  • Very expensive
