    The longer cord makes it more versatile.

    Both for the kitchen to solve the problem of microwave and fryer hating each other. The longer cord made it easier for me to get it where I need it and I can easily tie the extra cord. Works perfectly.

    I use this on a tank with accessories that don't have power switches, it's so nice not to disconnect something that doesn't work all the time.

    A month after closing the rear window, the switch on a socket failed. The other five switches still work, but the action feels soft. I expect further short-term setbacks.

    Finally a solution for cables

    Finally a solid *individually switchable* multi-output strip. The lights on each switch also feel nice. All other power strips I could find only had one switch to control all the outlets, and the only way to switch with them individually was to use multiple strips. Now what do I do with a dozen of these strips with a switch? :)

    Unreliable on accessories and consumables

    Poor contact so I have to constantly wiggle the plugs to get the right connection, which can still come loose unexpectedly. I used an extension cord on my aquarium and one of the filters and the heater failed during the night. I didn't notice any power outage as all the plugs were plugged in and the lights on the bar were on. I disconnected and reconnected, this happened again for several hours.

    Does a great job.

    We have this to hook up a heated carpet, some lamps and a TV and a portable humidifier and heater in the living room. Separate switches are very useful, especially for portable items and carpets, and the 90° wall socket, white color and rounded edges make it look clean in the living room even in bright orange light. It's been 2 months and it's still working.

    handy: extension cord

    I use this extension cord to power multiple lights that I don't want to get out of my chair to turn on and off when video chatting with my friend . I also use it to power the Wii's touchpad which I have connected to a DC adapter so I can turn it on during use and off when not using it on my Wii emulation PC.

    Just what I needed

    The 8ft extension allowed me to place the extension in the right spot on my desk. Illuminated switches are very handy, they allow me to control individual tools and confirm everything is off when I'm done.

All other power strips I could find only had one switch to control all the outlets, and the only way to switch with them individually was to use multiple strips.
