Surface Pen Microsoft Certified Sensitivity Review

As an artist, I am always searching for new ways to improve my creativity. This device certainly does an excellent job making my computing tasks easier than I ever expected. Computers and drawing can be challenging tasks to marry, but this pen makes it feel completely effortless as my tests showed. The sensitivity allowed for a natural and precise feeling that was very intuitive. However, the price is the only con but completely worth it.

This pen worked right out of the box. I've been using it for the past few hours and it seems great to be my backup pen over the traditional Microsoft OEM pen. If you travel a lot like me, I often forget my pen in the office. This is a fantastic backup. One important thing to note is that the eraser is different from the OEM pen, you need to press the button and draw a line to erase. It took some getting used to.

Liked it better from the start than the Bamboo pen which I spent a lot more on last year (and the top button broke shortly after purchase). I didn't need to sync it to my laptop. I took it out of the box and put it on my Asus laptop/tablet and it worked right away. The stylus itself has a right-click/delete button, so you don't have to lift the stylus to click the delete or undo icon.
